- Telehealth Services
All appointments are provided via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth.
Patients must be physically located in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC at the time of their session.
Patients are responsible for ensuring a private, quiet environment with a reliable internet connection. - Appointments & Cancellations
Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Late Cancellations/No-Shows: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice may be subject to a fee. - Payments & Insurance
Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards.
Insurance: We are in-network with select insurance plans. Please verify coverage prior to your appointment.
Out-of-Network Patients: Superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement (depending on your plan).
Self-Pay Rates: Intake and follow-up fees will be shared at the time of scheduling. - Prescriptions & Medication Management
Medication prescriptions are provided only after a thorough psychiatric evaluation.
Refills are generally provided during follow-up appointments.
Emergency refills outside of scheduled visits are not guaranteed. - Privacy & Confidentiality
All services comply with HIPAA privacy regulations.
Patient records are kept securely within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Information will not be shared without your written consent, except as required by law (e.g., safety concerns, abuse reporting). - Emergencies
ConnectWell Psychiatry is not a crisis service.
If you are experiencing an emergency or crisis, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
For urgent mental health support, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). - Technology Disclaimer
Patients are responsible for maintaining their own devices, software, and internet connection.
Technical issues may occasionally interrupt sessions; we will work with you to reschedule if needed.
